About YIFA

Shanghai YIFA is carrying out EN17460/DIN 6701 & ISO21368/DIN 2304 certification audit in China under the supervision and cooperation of TBB Cert Germany since 2009. More than 300 companies were certificated with EN17460/DIN6701(including more than 30 railway OEMs) via Shanghai YIFA, and more than 10 companies were certificated ISO21368/DIN2304 via Shanghai YIFA.

YIFA New Materials is conducting workforce qualification training align with EN17460/DIN6701, ISO21368/DIN2304, DIN Spec 35255 with the cooperation of Fraunhofer IFAM, which including

· EAE (European Adhesive Engineer) since 2015

· EAS (European Adhesive Specialist) since 2012

· EAB (European Adhesive Bonder) since 2009

· Composite_M (Composite manufacturing) since 2020

· Composite_R (Composite repair) since 2020

· Composite_S (Composite specialist) since 2020

Participants pass all examinations will get corresponding certificate issued by Fraunhofer IFAM. YIFA has trained around 6000 participants by Oct. 2024.

YIFA also provides EN17460 and other standards training, and customized training related bonding &composites application technology.    

The well equipped YIFA Test Center has CNAS qualification since 2019, and qualified bonding test qualification by Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) since 2023. YIFA Test Center is able to conduct bonding and composite related tests according to standards. The core capabilities are: Type test verification of bonding design, process verification of new products and new projects, incoming material inspection/ accompany test, bonding failure analysis & solution /abnormal bonding analysis & solution etc. Yifa Testing Center can provide professional, fair and objective test reports and process assessments in the filed of bonding and composites.

YIFA R&D Center provides technical support related adhesive bonding and composites application, cooperates with customers via research projects with the topics of bonded joint simulation, load capacity verification, bonding life evaluation, digital database for adhesive selection, composite structure design and simulation, bonding process development, substrate surface treatment and adhesive selection, and interpretation of test standards.

YIFA customers including more than 30 Railway OEMs (Changke, Sifang, Tangche, Zhuzhou Locomotive, Puzhen, Dalian Locomotive, Qishuyan Locomotive, Chengdu Locomotive, Ziyang Locomotive, Changke Alstom, Sifang Alstom, Puzhen Alstom, Guangdong CRRC, Beijing Subway Rolling Stock Equipment etc.), more than 300 railway tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers (Times New Materials, CRRC Times Electric, CRRC Braking System, Yongji Electric, Sifang Rolling Stock Research Institute, Dalian Rolling Stock Research Institute, KTK, Kangni, Victall, Tiemao, Fuyao, IFE, Huada , Bode, Dalian Guangyuan, Lince, Gofront Equipment, Guangleng Huaxu, Jiaye Aviation, etc.), AVIC industry(such as COMAC etc.), Mercedes Benz, FAW Volkswagen, BYD, Webasto, P&G Gillette, FOTILE, BSH, Dow Chemical, Henkel, BASF, 3M, Bostik, sika, etc. Served industries including: railway, automotive, home appliances, electronics, aviation, aerospace, shipbuilding, wind energy, photovoltaic and adhesives.

Participants from India, Malaysia, Singapore, Bahrain, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, South Africa and Taiwan area etc. participated in the English EAS and EAB courses in YIFA, and certificated by Fraunhofer IFAM. YIFA has the only Chinese examiner Dr. Jingfen Zhang who is authorized by EWF-DVS for EAE / EAS / EAB examination.
