Qualified personnel are required to use Fiber reinforced plastics (FRPs) professionally and to fully exploit its innovative potential. These experts must know and understand the special features of the material, as well as the interplay between material and production process - because not all FRPs are the same.
YIFA New Materials offers the one-week course "Fibre Composite Remanufacturer", which enables the participants to maintain high-quality fibre composite structures, as well as to machine and repair FRP.
Course content:
1. Objectives of the training course
The participants will be trained to repair fiber composites and to work in industrial production. The training course qualifies participants how to effectively follow work instructions for their particular work tasks. After successful completion of the course they are able to process and repair highquality fiber composite structures.
2. Duration of the training course and examination
The training course including the examination amounts to a total of 40 hours (one week). To aid the learning, the theoretical part is backed up by a large number of practical assignments. The course ends with a final oral and practical examination. A prerequisite for taking the examination is regular attendance at the course sessions.
3. Target groups
The course is aimed at employees in companies whose work involves independently maintaining, repairing, and processing fiber composites following work instructions.
It is an upgraded version of the DIN6701 series standards and is a comprehensive quality assurance specification for adhesive bonding of rail transit vehicles and their maintenance. This standard provides a framework for creating repeatable and simple bonding processes. The standard covers key aspects such as adhesive joint design, adhesive process planning, production and manufacturing, quality control, maintenance and repair, and procurement of adhesive parts.
The course is taught by Yifa professional lecturers with rich experience in adhesive use. In the morning, professional theories are taught, and in the afternoon, hands-on operations are carried out, combined with on-site visits and internships of adhesive production lines.
Through the training of this course, students can understand the nature and reasons for bonding operations and quality control, saving and controlling costs for enterprises in various aspects such as selecting adhesives, applying equipment, and processes correctly, controlling bonding quality, and avoiding the occurrence of defective products and accidents.
The course content and schedule will be jointly agreed upon by Yifa and the client.
