In the aerospace, wind power, electronics, home appliances, sporting goods and civil industries, the number of enterprises in Chinese Mainland is second to Germany among the enterprises that have obtained qualifications. The following figure lists several representative companies (without specifying their names) from the perspective of terminal applications and their respective industries.
Taking the application of electricity as an example, the country is currently encouraging the new energy industry, including upstream power generation (wind, solar, tidal, hydropower), and the demand for related supporting products such as motors, blades, turbines, inverters, etc. is also growing. Due to the harsh application environment, the application of weather resistant adhesives is gradually increasing, and the corresponding adhesive manufacturing process is also attracting more and more attention from the process and quality departments.
In recent years, the use of adhesives in the automotive industry has grown rapidly with the explosive sales of new energy vehicles. Adhesive bonding, sealing, and protection technologies are being used for battery thermal conductivity, sealing, safety protection, and charging pile sealing. Some companies have already introduced DIN2304 as a management standard for special bonding processes and integrated it into their existing management systems. The bonding process has been managed as CC and SC items in DFMEA and PFEMA.
In terms of household appliances, kitchen appliances, audio and video products have increasingly high requirements for electronic protection levels (including sealing) and service life. In addition to the conventional adhesive function, other extended properties such as mold resistance, electromagnetic shielding, heat resistance, etc. are also increasingly valued. Therefore, in terms of joint grade confirmation, in addition to safety features, functional requirements have never been reduced.
