The promotion and implementation of EN17460 standard by Yifa Bonding & Composite Research Institute has been successfully completed

Yifa Bonding & Composite Research Institute is a firm implementing unit of EN17460 (formerly DIN6701) standard, and has been promoted multiple times in the rail transit industry. This standard promotion is being carried out at Yifa New Materials Research Institute located in Changzhou, Jiangsu.

This training lasted for three days (May 13th to 15th). The first day mainly focused on the introduction and personnel competency requirements, explaining in detail the new requirements for personnel after the new standard replaces DIN6701. The next day mainly focused on design and verification, explaining in detail the design process of the new standard, including: requirement list, joint list, level classification, design calculation, verification plan and process. On the last day, the main focus will be on explaining the process, including sample and quality assurance, maintenance, and subcontracting.

The promotion not only included the teacher's explanation, but also a discussion session. Students' doubts about the standards were actively raised during the course, and the teacher provided answers one by one.
