In late July 2024, Yifa conducted standard implementation training for the bonding system EN17460 at Fuyao Group. 29 employees from Fuyao Group's two major subsidiaries, "Fujian Wanda Automotive Glass Industry Co., Ltd." and "Fujian Fuyao Automotive Trim Co., Ltd." participated in this EN17460 standard implementation training.
EN17460 is upgraded from the DIN6701 standard, and its full name is "EN 17460:2022 Railway applications – Adhesive bonding of rail vehicles and their components". This standard is aimed at the bonding production of rail transit vehicles and rail transit vehicle components. It is currently used in rail transit vehicle factories. and parts manufacturing plants for large-scale use and certification. It has been optimized on the original basis of DIN6701, providing detailed processes and verification methods for the design of bonded joints, strengthening the requirements for personnel with A2-level joint design qualifications, and focusing on the maintenance of rail transit vehicle components. strengthen.
In the process of standard implementation training, there are requirements for the qualifications of bonding personnel, requirements for continuing education of personnel, the process and verification methods of bonding joint design, destructive detection and aging test methods of bonding joints, and planning of bonding operation processes. The requirements of the bonding work instructions, the purchase process control of bonding parts and bonding materials, and the quality control related to bonding joints were elaborated and discussed in detail.
In the design verification section of adhesive joints, a series of design cases were prepared. Based on the cases, students were led to list the requirements for adhesive joints, collect load conditions and aging factors, calculate design loads, calculate adhesive load-bearing capacity, and combine safety Coefficient to verify the safety of bonded joints. Through case exercises, everyone has a clearer understanding of the design and calculation process of bonded joints.
The 29 trainees who participated in the training came from the design, production, procurement, system, project, quality and other departments of the two subsidiaries. Throughout the training process, the trainees and teachers actively interacted with each other, and they all expressed their opinions on the issues they were exposed to in their positions. Discuss, analyze and share actual cases. After this EN17460 standard implementation training, the trainees expressed that they had a deeper knowledge and understanding of EN17460 and DIN6701 bonding systems, and successfully passed the final examination.
