In order for its products to enter the European market, the quality of the bonding process must be approved by the other party. In August 2023, the EN17460 standard implementation training class will be held at Zhuzhou Zhuzhou Machinery Co., Ltd. This time, people from many companies participated in the meeting.

This training was organized by Yifa Bonding and Composites Research Institute and Fraunhofer IFAM. It is reported that Yifa Bonding and Composites Research Institute is the strategic partner of German Fraunhofer IFAM in China, including Shanghai Yifa Bonding Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., Yifa New Materials Research Institute (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., Yifa New Materials (Qingdao) ) Technology Engineering Center and Shanghai Yifa Business Consulting Co., Ltd. For more than ten years, Yifa has introduced EN17460/DIN6701 and ISO21368/DIN2304 bonding standards into China, starting from the rail industry, covering aviation, automobiles, home appliances, electronics, shipbuilding, construction and other fields, helping China's manufacturing industry to establish and improve bonding standards in China. In line with the technical standards in the application field, it has made an indelible contribution to the quality assurance of Made in China. Conduct EN17460/DIN6701, ISO21368/DIN2304 certification audits, project support and consulting in China; carry out three EAE European Bonding Engineers, EAS European Bonding Technicians, and EAB European Bonding Operators (European Bonding Operators) issued certificates by Fraunhofer Level bonding training and examination, as well as composite manufacturing Composite_M, repair Composite_R, and technician Composite_S training and examination. Zhang Yuxian EN17460 auditor/EAE training instructor/General manager of Yifa Bonding & Composites Research Institute, graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a master's degree in polymer materials and MBA, and has been engaged in adhesive and bonding technology at Loctite Henkel and Yifa for nearly 30 years.

Fang Danyifa is a composite material R&D engineer/EAE European bonding engineer at the Bonding and Composites Research Institute. He is mainly engaged in the training of DIN6701 bonding systems in the rail vehicle industry, and research on composite materials research and development, lightweighting and connection technology.

The training covered the update of the current status of the EN17460 standard and interpretation of the standard, exchange of quality system operation experience and quality assurance skills, sharing of practical bonding cases and solutions, sharing of full life cycle bonding quality assurance methods, testing standards and verification cases.

During the entire training period, trainees from different business units of each company interacted frequently on and off the stage, which can be described as a great collision of thinking and a great update of knowledge, which well reflected the effect of the EN17460 standard implementation training.
