Three levels of personnel involved in EN17460 standard adhesive system certification

The EN17460 standard provides a detailed classification of professionals in the field of bonding, based on their technical abilities, professional knowledge, and rich experience, and establishes three levels:

The first level is European Adhesive Engineers (EAE), who possess comprehensive adhesive technology and are outstanding in the industry.

The second level is European Adhesive Technicians (EAS), who possess comprehensive technical capabilities and are the backbone of the industry.

The third level is European Operational Technicians (EABs), who possess basic technical skills and are emerging forces in the industry.

It is worth noting that the training criteria for EAE and EAS have been updated from DVS-EWF3309 and EWF517 to EWF662, while the training criteria for EAB have been upgraded from DVS 3305 and EWF515 to EWF 515. These changes not only represent the upgrading of industry standards, but also reflect the continuous progress and development of bonding technology.
