In the seventh and eighth weeks, theoretical knowledge such as the adhesion theory of bonding, the adhesion energy of bonding, the adhesion model of bonding, and the polymer behavior at the interface between polymers and inorganic materials were learned; Analysis technologies for detecting material surfaces include XPS, AES, TOF-SIMS, EDX, OSEE, etc.; I learned surface quality assurance methods, the impact of corrosion behavior on bonding quality, and surface wetting performance detection methods.
In addition to theoretical study, students were also organized to enter the laboratory to make lap shear samples bonded with different adhesives, and the surface tension and contact angle of the substrate were tested. After the completion of the graduation examination, the college organized a graduation dinner. Dean Fraunhofer IFAM was invited to attend the dinner and delivered a speech.
