Summary of conference speech
Dr. Zhang Jingfen, general manager of Yifa New Materials Research Institute, first made an opening speech for the conference. The essence of bonding is strong bonding and long-term durability. Dr. Zhang Jingfen from Yifa Bonding & Composite Material Research Institute gave a keynote report on "Yifa Scientific Research and DIN SPEC 35255 Composite Material Standard". Based on actual cases, Dr. Zhang introduced in detail the intelligent adhesive selection platform, bonding simulation and calculation, adhesive selection, bonding process verification, bonding process evaluation, bonding failure analysis, bonding joint life prediction, and bonding technology. We have formed unique R&D capabilities in ten directions including welding, EN17460/DIN6701-3 and composite product development and trial production. DIN SPEC 35255 composite material standard, DIN6701 standard and DIN2304 standard are of the same origin. Wang Gong, a bonding expert from CRRC Corporation and from CRRC Tangshan Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., shared with everyone the topic of his speech: Rail Vehicle Adhesive Application and Bonding Quality Control. Wang Gong systematically introduced the use of adhesives in rail vehicles. At the same time, he analyzed in detail the causes and solutions of bonding failure cases that are often encountered in rail vehicles based on actual cases. Chao Gaoyi, senior lecturer and director of the Testing Center of Yifa Bonding & Composites Research Institute, gave a speech entitled: New requirements for verification of the EN17460 system. After the bonding standards are upgraded from the DIN6701 series standards to the EN 17460 European standard, the new requirements for bonding products include design verification and process verification in the design-manufacturing-mass production process. Chaogong introduced in detail two specific implementation plans for verification and the test methods involved in the verification process based on actual cases. Through the construction and application of the DIN2304 bonding quality system in the passenger car industry, quality control is simultaneously carried out from six aspects: human, machine, material, method and environmental testing, and the entire bonding process is controlled, thus solving the above bonding failures. question.
The topic shared by Mr. Zhang, the deputy general manager of Zhengzhou Zhongyuan Silande High-Tech Co., Ltd. is: High-quality application of elastic bonding and sealing materials. Mr. Zhang gave an overview of the performance characteristics of commonly used sealants and shared two high-performance sealants from Zhongyuan Silan: silicone modified polyether sealant and butyl hot melt adhesive. Silicone-modified polyether does not require activators and primers, has good compatibility with PU glue, has excellent sprayability, and the surface will not turn black after long-term use. Butyl hot melt adhesive has excellent performance in heat resistance, aging resistance, sealing performance, vibration and noise reduction, etc. Mr. Zhang’s introduction will help everyone make the choice of adhesive later.

Mr. He introduced the fire protection requirements for different parts of rail vehicles in detail based on the European standard EN45545-2.
Yan Gong, the bonding supervisor of CRRC Qishuyan Locomotive Co., Ltd., shared the topic: analysis and treatment of typical cases of water leakage from the front window of a locomotive. Yan Gong shared cases of water leakage in front windows with strips, aluminum frames and adhesives. In-depth inspection describes the process of failure analysis. It has very good guiding significance for everyone on how to solve the problem of bonding failure in the future.
The title of the speech given by Director Wang of the Engineering Center of Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd.: The latest progress in wind power blade bonding technology. Wind turbine blade-related bonding technology has gone through a manual stage, a tooling-assisted stage and a semi-automatic stage. Mold bonding is one of the key processes in blade manufacturing, and it is very important to choose the appropriate adhesive. The curing degree of the adhesive layer, the thickness of the adhesive layer and the width of the bonding surface are key indicators in the blade production process, and can be controlled using non-destructive testing and simulation calculations.
Li Gong from the Supplier Management Office of CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd. brought the topic: Discussion on the testing of adhesive products for rail transit vehicles. Li Gong introduced different testing items and selected appropriate testing items and frequencies based on the safety level of the bonded joints. Li Gong's speech shared in detail Zhuzhou Machinery's performance testing methods and capabilities for adhesive products, and opened up our understanding of incoming material inspection methods for adhesive products.
Wei Gong, senior engineer of CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., shared the topic: Requirements for the application of environmentally friendly adhesives for rail transit vehicles. Both the Railway Administration and the Railway Bureau have very clear requirements for the air quality inside motor buses. Therefore, during the adhesive selection process, special attention needs to be paid to controlling environmental protection requirements from the source of adhesive procurement.
As the "Bonding Day" forum's influence has increased, it has attracted first-class bonding-related companies at home and abroad to participate in the exhibition, including glue companies, surface treatment companies, and testing institutions. Welcome dinner highlights
At the welcome dinner on the first day of the conference, since most of the guests attending the meeting were EAS (European Adhesive Technicians) and EAE (European Adhesive Engineers) students trained by Yifa, the dinner was like a large-scale class reunion, and students met and drank.
