Yifa Bonding & Composite Research Institute was invited to participate in the 8th China CRRC General Technology Development Forum

From September 6 to 7, 2024, the 8th CRRC General Technology Development Forum and the 60th anniversary theme event of "Locomotive and Rolling Stock Technology" were held in Datong, Shanxi. The forum is hosted by CRRC Co., Ltd. and hosted by CRRC Qishuyan.

Yifa Bonding and Composite Materials Research Institute has profound technical accumulation and excellent R&D capabilities in the field of bonding and composite materials. As the introduction and implementation unit of EN17460 and ISO21368 standards, Yifa was invited to participate, which fully demonstrated its important position and influence in the industry. As an invited guest, Mr. Zhang Yuxian, general manager of Yifa, delivered an important speech entitled "DIN Spec 35255 Composite Quality Technical Standard" at the forum, setting the standard as a pioneer.

Scholars and experts from research institutes and universities such as China Academy of Mechanical Science, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Hunan University, Jilin University, China Academy of Engineering Physics, China Aircraft Strength Research Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tongji University, as well as CRRC Chen Mingqian, deputy director of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Quality and Information Technology, Wang Yuquan, deputy director of the Innovation Capability Department, Ma Teng, deputy director of the Technology Department of CRRC Industrial Development Division, Jin Guozhong, deputy general manager and chief engineer of CRRC Qishuyan Institute, and chief engineer of CRRC Datong Company Liang Zhenzhong, technical experts from CRRC Welding Technical Committee, CRRC Non-destructive Testing Technical Committee, CRRC Process Management Expert Group, CRRC Painting Technical Expert Group, CRRC Bonding Technical Expert Group, and nearly 300 industry partners. Elites gathered together for the event. The forum was hosted by Wang Yuquan and Wang Nan, deputy director of the Science and Technology Management Department of CRRC Qishuyan Institute.

This is not only an important platform for Yifa Bonding & Composites Research Institute to demonstrate its strength, but also plays an active role in promoting technical exchanges and cooperation in the transportation industry.

The Yifa team has many years of experience in the application of glue and composite materials. It introduced EN17460 (formerly DIN6701) and ISO21368 (formerly DIN2304) bonding standards into China more than ten years ago, and carried out standard-related certification, training, testing, research and development, and bonding joints. Stress and strain simulation calculations, bonding life prediction, project consulting, etc.; conduct bonding training and examinations at three levels: EAE European Bonding Engineer, EAS European Bonding Technician, and EAB European Bonding Operator (operator) issued certificates by Fraunhofer . By August 2024, Yifa has trained nearly 6,000 engineering and technical personnel at all levels at home and abroad who have been issued the German Fraunhofer IFAM bonding qualification certificate. There are more than 300 rail companies certified by Yifa, covering more than 30 main engine factories and their branches, and more than 280 accessories factories. Yifa Testing Center is accredited by CNAS and has obtained COMAC bonding testing qualifications. We provide third-party testing services such as process verification, type testing, incoming material inspection and accompanying inspection, failure mode analysis and bonding fault diagnosis for many domestic OEMs.
