Congratulations to the Testing Center of Yifa Bonding & Composite Research Institute for successfully passing the CNAS on-site evaluation

On August 17-18, 2019, the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) appointed a review team to conduct an on-site evaluation of the testing center laboratory of Yifa Bonding & Composite Research Institute.

During the two-day review, the expert panel conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the laboratory management system documents and operational status in accordance with CNAS-CL01:2018 "Accreditation Criteria for Testing and Calibration Laboratories" and other relevant accreditation requirements.

The review team conducted on-site experiments, inspected the overall laboratory environment, verified the use and calibration records of laboratory testing instruments, reviewed testing reports and work records, personnel training plans, internal audits and management review reports, and evaluated the management and technical capabilities of the Yifa Bonding & Composite Research Institute Testing Center through on-site questioning and other methods.

After a rigorous and meticulous review, the review team unanimously agreed that the testing center of Yifa Bonding & Composite Research Institute basically meets the requirements in terms of management system and quality assurance and can operate effectively. The technical capabilities such as testing facilities, environment, testing instruments and equipment, testing methods, and testing personnel capabilities all meet the relevant requirements. Guiding opinions and suggestions were put forward on improving laboratory standard records, contract risk management, and metrological calibration. Through the review, the expert group unanimously believes that the management system of the Testing Center of Yifa Bonding & Composite Research Institute is running well, and the inspection and testing technology activities are effective. They agree to recommend passing the on-site review.

With the increasing attention of domestic enterprises to bonding technology, performance testing of bonding products has gradually become a focus of concern for enterprises. After years of technical accumulation in the field of bonding, the Testing Center of Yifa Bonding & Composite Research Institute has developed a series of adhesive product performance testing capabilities, including mechanical performance testing of samples, process evaluation, type test verification, environmental aging analysis, etc.

This CNAS review has further affirmed and improved the testing capabilities of Shanghai Yifa Adhesive Training Center, laying a solid foundation for future standardized management. At the same time, through CNAS supervision, authoritative, accurate, and fair testing in the adhesive field can be better carried out.
